Position Description:

iPullRank is looking for a Manager of Content Strategy to join our agency and lead our content and optimization team. This position is that of a player-coach, with responsibility for specific client deliverables in addition to leading our team of Content Strategists, content creators, developers and optimization specialists. 

In leading the team, you will ensure disciplined adherence to content strategy and ensure that top-notch quality is being delivered, keeping out an eye for areas to improve, and collaborating with other Directors to elevate iPR’s suite of offerings. As a coach, you support your team’s professional development while supporting their work and removing any roadblocks.

On senior client accounts, you will develop brand messaging architecture and enforce governance models for our clients. As well, you will collaborate with the Research and Analytics team, aligning content strategy with audience research and overseeing the execution of content campaigns. What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee all content deliverables, ensuring quality, comprehensiveness, and cohesion with content, data, and SEO strategy
  • Review data related to content performance and content potential to determine what content to build, optimize, and launch. Consistently track performance.
  • Develop multi-channel Content Strategy to inform client content creation efforts

Position Description:

iPullRank is looking for a Technical Search Engine Optimization Manager to join our team to deliver strong consulting and robust technical solutions to support our enterprise clients and their complex challenges.

The client-facing role works directly with Client teams to deliver best-in-class technical SEO that drives results. This role will perform SEO site audits, backlink audits, log file audits and otherwise proactively identify technical SEO opportunities to drive organic traffic and improve page performance. This person will lead SEO efforts and collaborate extensively with Mike King to actively contribute to SEO research to develop new strategies and with the SEO community. The SEO Director will manage the SEO team of Engineers and Analysts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify on-page SEO opportunities
  • Perform comprehensive Site Audits
  • Perform in-depth log file analysis
  • Improve conversion of Organic Search traffic
  • Own performance monitoring reports and KPIs
  • Work with Content Strategy to determine keyword content opportunities for client sites
  • Work with Research Analysts to perform Persona-Driven Keyword Research
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify actionable insights
  • Present deliverables and results to clients
  • Work with Development and Content Creation teams to implement SEO processes
  • Train and manage a team of SEO Engineers and Analysts
  • Contribute to iPullRank inbound marketing efforts and other forms of thought leadership

Requirements:

MUST HAVES FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Minimum 5 years of search engine optimization experience
  • Possess thorough, up-to-date knowledge of search engine ranking factors and maintains current SEO practices
  • Previous client-facing experience
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS required
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and relevant frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Proficiency with Analytics packages and Google Search Console
  • Familiar with industry-standard SEO software
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptionally clear oral and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Prior team management experience

SKILLS OF INTEREST:

  • Relational Database skills such as MySQL
  • Backend programming language such as Python or PHP
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Experience with Paid Search
