What happens when Google AI Mode is connected to your personal context?
In this webinar, Garrett Sussman, Michael Tandoh, and Cate Dombrowski from iPullRank break down their experiment testing whether Google’s opt-in Personal Intelligence can influence AI Mode brand recommendations.
We tested three Google account conditions: a blank control account, a Personal Intelligence-connected account, and a mature personal Google account with real history across Gmail, Photos, and other Google products. Then we seeded brand signals through Gmail and Photos to see whether those brands would appear more often in AI Mode recommendations.
The findings suggest that AI search visibility is becoming more personal, more contextual, and harder to measure with traditional rank-tracking assumptions.
